The virtual implementation of NSCMID 2021 takes place on a versatile virtual platform called Howspace. It is an Al-powered digital collaboration tool, known for its ease of use, flexibility, and security. The platform works both on desktop and mobile. The latest version of Chrome browser is recommended.
Online participants can follow the scientific programme as a live stream from the platform in the main stage programme room. Other rooms include ePoster room and Exhibition room. The platform also offers networking possibilities: you can chat with other attendees in platform chat or ask questions from the presenters during the congress.
All the scientific programme will be live streamed and recorded. The platform will stay open until 30 September 2021, and all materials and the lecture recordings will remain available on the platform for the congress participants.
Accessing the Howspace platform
All registered participants will receive a personal login link to access the Howspace platform before the congress. Please do not delete the email with the login link.
On the platform you may edit your profile information and also add your own profile picture, instead of just your initials that appear as a default option. To change your profile picture, click on your initials at the upper right corner > My profile > Change profile image. It is also possible to edit your name when editing the profile.
General technical instructions for participants:
- Functional Internet connection is essential in virtual events.
- We recommend that you close all other applications on your computer to make sure the full capacity of your Internet connection is available.
- Browser: the latest version of Chrome is recommended for the best experience.
- Sound: Headphones are the best way to participate in virtual events.
