37th NSCMID Annual Meeting 2021

Hybrid congress

Welcome to NSCMID 2021, 3-6 September, in Turku Finland!

It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the 37th Annual meeting of the Nordic Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (NSCMID) to be held on 3-6 September 2021 in Turku, Finland. This is the first time the event will take place in a hybrid format.

NSCMID 2021 will cover a variety of interesting subjects relevant for clinical microbiologists and infectious disease physicians from the Nordic countries, and others engaged in these fields. Our scientific programme brings together experts from relevant fields to present the latest findings and to share their expertise.

We are confident that you will find the meeting both scientifically and socially stimulating, and we look forward to meeting you in Turku, the oldest city in Finland, either onsite or online!

Jaana Vuopio
President NSCMID 2021

COVID-19 Update, 13 August 2021

We are delighted to confirm that the arrangements for the NSCMID 2021 hybrid congress are proceeding as planned.

To maximize the safety of our onsite congress attendees, we have reserved larger facilities for our use at the congress venue Logomo. All scientific sessions will take place in a big auditorium, and large spaces are available for lunch and coffee breaks, posters and the commercial exhibition. Working closely with the local health authorities in organizing our congress, we are confident that the NSCMID 2021 congress will be a safe, fruitful and enjoyable experience for all participants.

We wish you a very warm welcome to Turku!
